Graduation Photo Session - Seth T.

Earlier this year, I got the opportunity to do my little bro's graduation photos! I may be a bit biased, but I think he's quite the handsome chap, which made my job very easy. Seth graduated from the prestigious and challenging North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. He is pursuing language studies and a military career at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Looks to kill and smart to boot.

To make it even better, we took these photos when Seth came up to visit me in Columbus. These shots were taken on CCAD's campus. The polished concrete, exposed metal, and surrounding urban landscape matched his steely demeanor perfectly.

Seth, I'm so proud of you. Not just for all of your academic achievements - I'm proud of the responsible man you've become. I'm proud of your generous, helpful attitude at our wedding. I'm proud to be your big sis.

But what kind of big sis would I be without posting some pics of your lighter side?

Such a goof.

Graduation Photo Session - Nathan M.

I'd like to introduce you to someone. This August, I had a small photo session with my good friend, Nathan.  Nathan's high-school graduation was the same weekend as my wedding in North Carolina. We went down early to finish planning and it was nice to get away from all the craziness and explore for the shoot.

Nathan is a perfect gentleman with a servant's heart. He and his family have repeatedly gone out of their way to help me. They caravanned with my family up to Columbus with a minivan packed full of my crap to move me into my first college apartment. They made multiple trips up the mountain to our wedding venue hauling tables, chairs, and made the altarpiece. And if all that wasn't enough, Nate flew (for the first time!) up to Columbus with my mother to help Wes and I move out of the same apartment complex they moved us into, and back to NC. This is what generosity looks like.

Nathan, you're a blessing, and I'm thrilled that I could do this one little thing for you.  Can't wait to see the amazing things you will continue to do in your life!
